did you know that sen. john kerry divorced his first wife and the mother of his daughters while she was in the hospital being treated for depression?

Michigan

andrew, Did you know that Bush got us stuck in a war for no good reason, and his incompetence is adding years to the time we'll be fighting in Iraq?

Tucker, be sure to come up with some fresh spin for the 380 tons of high explosive your boy let slip into the enemy's eager hands.

Rosette

Andrew, I believe it. It sounds just like Kerry. No wonder she doen't want to have anything to do with him anymore.
If Teresa didn't have her inherited money from her dead husband, Republican John Heinz, Kerry wouldn't even look at her.
Not that Kerry is such a prize catch himself. He just preys on vulnerable women who suffer from depression or who are newly widowed. Especially if they have loads of money to support Kerry and his illusions of grandeur.
I hope the American public won't be as naiive as the two Mrs Kerrys.
Come to think of it, John Edwards did the exact same thing. He exploited the gullible North Carolina jury and accident victims to make his fortune.
These two have a lot in common. Aside from being lawyers.
They represent the rock bottom of our culture and everything that is wrong with our soceity today.
I trust those two lawyers as I would trust two rattlesnakes.Go George W Bush. Four more years! Four more years!

When there are no facts to support your guy I it must be fun to just gossip like woman reading the Inquire magazine in the Supermarket. That is just what this country needs.

I am proud that Kerry supporters are well informed and aware of issues that matter that just happen to be supported in fact and common sense. Facts ... imagine that.

Over 1,100 American Soldiers dead?
Kerry divorced his first wive.
Families are struggling with low paying jobs and no health insurance?
Kerry married a really rich woman.

Those girls ofKerry's seem like a real mess. What a home wrecker. Luckily we have the Bush twins to keep the family values going, eh?

Yea, that sounds about balanced. Four more years! Four more years!

*sigh*

Andrew

I think you're confusing Kerry with Newt Gingrich.

Newt served wife number one with divorce papers while she was in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy.

That's what I love about Republicans, "They ain't nuthin' but class."

Fox? Fox viewers think Fox should guard the henhouse.

I see the liberals have nothing better to do than trolling the republican blogs looking for fights with their deception and name calling.

First of all want to talk about deception, get "Stolen Honor". I don't care what Bush did or didn't do, at least he didn't put his service on the line and then get all pissed off moaning and groaning like a baby when it's looked into. Kerry's own words will be the death of him.

Second, I am a Mass resident, have been for close to 22 years, there are some serious problems in Massachusetts when it comes to the taxes and health care. Kerry is a bonified joke of a senator just like his counterpart. It doesn't take a genious to see that a. you got a senator with a history of running with the wind, lying, treason, etc. b. you got a vice presidental canidite (edwards) who has spent most of his career as a civil litigation attorney...enough said.

rosette

Just because I am a woman it does not imply that I am uninformed or that I read the Inquirer.
What a stereotype!
Typical Democrat mentality.
Yeah you'll win a lot of women's votes with this mentality.

What a man does in his personal life is highly indicative of his character and how he will lead the nation. Therefore Mr Kerry's two marriages are very revealing about his character. Personally, I can never respect a man who makes it a lifestyle to marry rich widows or depression-stricken women and live off them.
It's parasitic, opportunistic, morally pimpish, utterly emasculating.
Is that your best guy ??? Pathetic!

Kerry will win if we get out and vote: http://www.needlenose.com/win04/vote.htm

Oh about the 1,000 dead...I hate to come off sounding like a cold hearted snake, but those 1,000 that died, they signed their lives up for that, it's called duty. It's an honorable thing to serve your country, so instead of acting like the dumb canidites who, instead of consoling family members, they feed on their emotions like the serpent in the Garden of Eden promising to get their kids back, and end the war (when we all know that's not reality). Years ago it used to be an honor to fight and die for the sake of someone else's freedom, but nowadays this world is so self involved they only think of themselves. How sad. All the excuses I hear.

You are the same people who are trying to take God out of everything, but yet, still blaming him for everything.

Lol...flip floppers

I'm just disgusted that Bill Clinton is out there campaigning again. He acts as if millions of people still loved him, and want to turn the clock back to the days before our long nightmare of peace and prosperity ended.

Everyone knows all the bad things that happened on Bush's watch were really Clinton's fault, not his.

And I just can't ever, ever forgive him for putting his penis in a lady's mouth. Ewwww.

RocketPunch

Interesting. All this talk about the personal life of people we don't know on any kind of personal level. I don't want to talk about the drunk driving of Bush and Cheney. I don't want to talk about the President being labeled as the "Party Boy". I don't want to discuss his drug use or the arrests of the children of the Bush family. None of that is important to a campaign in the PRESENT DAY. All this judging of others as good or bad - then talk of God in the same breath. It is a contradiction. I try not to judge people with differing opinions. I believe to say a person is uninformed is to point out that their opinions reflect a lack of facts. It is NOT a reflection on the person themselves. I don't claim a right to do that. Lord knows I am not any smarter then anyone else on this board. I just happen to be informed on the facts.

RocketPunch

rosette - I had no notice of your name and no knowledge of your gender. A stereo-type based on gender was not my intention and if you took it as so I apologize.

I din't serve in Vietnam cause I was real busy that decade, but if i did i wouldn't be proud to be one of the 50000 heros on that black wall in DC cause if we only heroed 50000 more we coulda WON that sucker and spared us the decades of humiliation and suffering under the jackboots of the victorious vietcongs that won and turned our country into the kind of disaster where we had to hire an actor to be president cause nobody real would take the job.

And now its all happening again and we need to win this time we have 48200 to go and then everything will be ok again.

nick

Wow -- I feel sorry for the Reps on this blog... You are outnumbered 2-1 by people who read the paper -- and it shows.

If you want to go toe-to-toe on Family Values, let's loop back to Bush and Cheney's DUI arrests, Bush's drug use, his daughter's underage drinking and his shady business dealings.

But really, the big story of the day, despite all your sad attempts at rewriting reality, is that the BUSH ADMIN LOST 380 TONS of HIGH EXPLOSIVE IN IRAQ!

Doesn't that piss you off as Republicans? I thought you folks are known for good management skills and being disciplined and all that jazz?

All I know, is that if I had lost 380 pens, I would be fired.

But dear old King George can play dress-up as the Commander in Chief while never taking the blame for anything.

I'm sure Prescott Bush is rolling in his grave somewhere.

RH

JOHN KERRY HAS VOWED THAT IF HE BECOMES PRESIDENT HE WILL ONLY APPOINT PRO-CHOICE JUDGES TO THE BENCH.
THAT MEANS: NO PRACTISING CATHOLIC WILL BE APPOINTED TO THE BENCH.

KERRY ALSO SAYS HE WILL SUBJECT THEM TO THE LITMUS TEST.

I UNDERSTAND NOW WHY MOST CATHOLICS CONSIDER JOHN KERRY TO BE THE WORST EMABARASMENT TO THEIR BELIEFS AND WHY SO MANY CATHOLIC BISHOPS ARE SAYING THAT A VOTE FOR KERRY IS A VOTE FOR SIN.

KERRY WILL NOT GET A SINGLE CATHOLIC VOTE.
SENATOR KERRY, FOR GOD'S SAKE, STOP CALLING YOURSELF A CATHOLIC. IT IS AN INSULT TO GOD.

dan

Whatever we do, let's not talk about all the explosives we have found.

And, let's certainly not talk about all the Iraqi people dying for this silly freedom business.

While we're at it, let's keep quoting figures of US dead in the context of some negative propaganda campaign. That make me feel nifty! I like thinking that my ancestors who died for this country - going back to the Revolutionary War - died just to be stats.

Maybe, after this is all over, Mr. Kerry can lead a Congressional hearing about atrocities and war crimes. That'll be swell!

RocketPunch

RH - The Catholic vote is split in the polls much as it was in 2000. Much as it usually is. I am Catholic and Kerry has my vote. You are incorrect in your statement. I, like John Kerry and John F. Kennedy and the founding fathers of this country, believe you can not legislate faith. There is a separation of Church and state for a reason.

RocketPunch

dan - those explosives weren't "found". We knew they were there well before the War. It was one of the sites that were inspected and under watch. The explosives were unguarded and, as a result, stolen.

An interesting part about this story. The explosives were stolen last year yet our National Security Advisor just found out about it last month. How is that for management skills.

kerry

This National Security Advisor? http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2003-10-06-rice-iraq_x.htm Deary me, she seems to have missed out on the job description overview.

RH

If you are a Catholic and you state you are pro-choice you will most certainly be denied Holy Communion in any Catholic church. Period.
This is what John Kerry does.
On one hand he supports abortion and on the other hand he claims he is a practicing Catholic. Yet he will not nominate a practicing Catholic Judge to the bench.
Many Catholic Bishops have advised practicing Catholics not to vote for Kerry as it would be considered a sin.

snotnose

Hey, I saw the show. Usually I won't watch too much of the propaganda channel. I guess you did O.k. for a wingnut. You can say that there were weapons all over Iraq, but that begs the question why the Powell doctrine wasn't the policy of this bloody adventure. Bush's wrong assumptions cost American lives. My fear now is that these weapons are on a cargo ship headed for the US. If they make it here, what state are we going to bomb then? Wrong war, Wrong place, Wrong time. W, Wrong for America.

Isaac Newton

380 tons lost for over a year? Is this what "Mission Accomplished" was supposed to mean?

RocketPunch

RH - and who told you that a pro-choice Catholic can not receive Communion? The Pope doesn't stand by that action. Just because a small handful of Priests believe it should be that way doesn't make it gospel. Get it? Gospel?

Seriously, if Pro-Choice Catholics could not receive Communion the attendance in Churches today would drop by half. People understand that in a free country we can not take the choice away from woman. A good Catholic raises their child to know their God and to understand the value of life. If this is done there is no need to ban the choice because the child is raised to make the right choice on their own. If you are concerned about abortion so much, it is up to you to get out there and teach our youth about the dangers of unprotected sexual behavior or, if you believe it helps, abstinence based programs. But the country will NEVER go back to the days when teenage girls are found dead in their homes with a coat hanger stuck in their bodies.

fatbear

While we're at it -

If the Bush family is so strong and patriotic, why are neither of the president's daugheters in the service? (And spare me, they are not girls - girls are under 18).

That's present day.

And how about the 750,000 bombs that'll be made from the explosives Bush couldn't care about? Oh, I forgot, that's Rummie's fault.

You GOPers are so ignorant....
